The original idea

The original idea i came up with was about 2 or 3 years ago, the idea was born from reading the walking dead graphic novels. i had the idea that we could do 4 to 6 short episode based zombie flicks based around 3 characters. I went to Ricky, Ross and Damian with the idea and they liked it and the thought i put into it. Me and Ricky worked on the script, I had a few ideas and i had come up with how to start the first episode off, Ricky took the notes that i gave him and he turned it into a script and gave the characters a bit more depth and tried to make them stand out from all the other zombie stuff out there. Me and Ricky and the rest of are group had quite a few meetings about the script and how to expand on the idea. Ricky was given the role of writting the script from my idea, I was going to direct, Ross was D.O.P and frst camera and Damian was second camera and editor. Ricky and me went through the script changed a few things and was nearly finished it. We shot a short teaser trailer for The Lonely Dead. I was able to get permission to film in Ford Park Cemetery, thats where the trailer was shot, we also shot a few other scenes at the same time that was for the first episode. After finishing the trailer and editing some of the scenes together, we had a group meeting and decided to pull the plug on the idea as, the walking dead was just released and it was to similar. We then decided to change te idea and write it as a mocumentary that would address the idea of how the world would react if zombies were intergrated into society.

This is a very short teaser trailer we made for our original idea, we follow a group of zombies as they are walking through the world lost and looking for there next meal.

Original script for The Lonely Dead

This is the original script that Ricky wrote after we had a few group meetings and took the base's of my idea and turned it into this script. This is a rough draft of the script where it is about 80% finished and there is some dialogue missing and scenes not finished as we scraped this idea and started on the mockumentary.

Treatment for original idea

Treatment (Episode 1 – The Pain of being Dead)

A young priest burst into an apartment flat after finding the door ajar; it the dark and dusty atmosphere he quietly drags a nearby cabinet across the apartment door, with sweat pouring from his spores he nervously makes his way across the dimly lit apartment that sole light source coming from a old a battered television set, as he approaches to lower the volume on the TV he suddenly sees a young man stretched out across the floor, he feels drawn to the static signal on the TV and all of a sudden he knows what he must do, it’s as if god has tasked him with saving the lost soul he has found in his temporary safety.

The young priest politely wakes the young man from his drug induced slumber, with a nice cup of tea at hand, the young man is shocked to see this youthful looking man of god in his apartment, he thinks to himself ‘Christ’ there is a brief conflict in dialogue as he disregards the priest bible talk, but he notices that the priest has blood on his hands, this startles the young priest as he runs towards the nearest tap and scrubs his hands violently clean of the blood stains. There is a moment of awkward silence between the two as they sit contemplating what on earth is happening around them; but when the young man lights up a joint, the priest tries to talk him out of his ways and explains how god has given him the task of saving the young mans soul, explaining to the man how the world outside his apartment has been brought crashing down with the ‘dead’ seemingly walking the earth. The young man struggles to take this all in, thinking that what he had been witnessing lately was all part of his ‘trip’ as it dawns upon him that the world as he knows it no longer exists; he signs ‘fuck’ and lights up his joint.

Some time later the two survivors get into a conversation about what they should do next, the priest is adamant that they must leave the relative safety of the apartment in search of holy land that is free of the evil infection that has swallowed up the rest of the world, but the young man is reluctant to leave until he realizes that his ‘supplies’ are running low; then all of a sudden he seems to spark into action as his addictions thrives in his bloodstream. He reveals to the priest that he knows of a place nearby that they can gather some essential supplies that they will need for their journey in search of the ‘holy land’. The priest makes himself a cup of tea to steady his nerves before leaving; adding two sweeteners and as the two leave the apartment the young man snatches the ‘sweeteners’ from the kitchen tabletop, and they quietly edge out of the apartment into the dark.

Out in the open the unlikely duo feel ‘naked’ surrounded by a silence that fills the pair with fear, the only sounds they hear is a gentle wind and fires burning in the streets; they make their way slowly through dark back alleys and dashing across roads between each connecting alley, and just before they find the ‘safe house’ they find themselves surrounded by lifeless bodies, hiding behind trash cans in a dirty back lane them seemingly haven’t been spotted by the immanent danger, after waiting in the damp of the alley in the dark for what feels like hours, groans come from behind them, as they turn they see numerous lifeless bodies approaching, in a panic the pair sprint out into the open heading straight for a back door in the alley that is slightly ajar, once inside they slam the door shut and collapse out of breath.

Once the young man gets his breath back he says ‘ we've made it father’ and swiftly makes his way across the backroom towards deep red curtains that travel from the roof to the floor of the building; the priest feeling a sense of new found hope follows the young man who’s stopped dead in his tracks just ahead; as he looks through the curtains he is taken aback as he doesn't find a building with essential ‘supplies’ but finds himself stood in a dirty seedy gentleman’s club with dead scantily clad dressed women and rotten bodies of dirty old men covering the clubs floor; the silence of shock is broken when they hear the distant cries of a young dancers clutching a pole with a high heel shoe covered in blood in her right hand.

Rotten Mockumentary Treatment

Title: Rotten

Rotten is a mockumentary film set in present day England that examines how individuals in modern society would cope if they had to live alongside Zombies.
The film is shot in a student DSLR documentary style and features a predominantly improvised performance from its cast and crew.
The main objective of the film is to highlight different prejudices against minority groups and explore how the different characters in the film cope with living with the undead.
The film starts off with a montage sequence, which shows there has been a disaster resulting in members of the public becoming infected with a virus that leaves them in a zombie like state.
The film crew first interview a middle-aged couple- Barry and Amy. The interview reveals that Barry was infected with the virus yet is cared for my Amy who appears to be slightly in denial about the fact her husband is no longer the man he used to be. The scene shows how for many people accepting that their loved ones are no longer with them is difficult emotionally to deal with.
Next we encounter Lew a man with long dreadlocks who campaigns for zombies to equal civil rights. He explains he’s putting on a fundraising night to aid his cause and the crew learns that he is passionate about anyone who exploits the undead for monetary reasons. The interview shows the views of an aggressive liberal viewpoint that is deeply opposed to zombies being used as commodities. The view point is similar to that of animal and civil rights campaigners.
After this the crew visit a bar run by a man called Mr. K, which has female zombies as dancers to entertain his cliental. In contrast to Lew Mr. K appears to treat the zombies he owns poorly. Despite questions from the crew about his treatment of the girls Mr K. stands firm in his belief that he is a kind man who is trying to make money and save the girls from being neglected. The opinions expressed by Mr K seem very pro-business and appear to have little regard to the welfare of the girls he owns. At the end of the interview Mr. K reveals to the crew that he’s going to purchase an unwanted zombie in the morning and asks the crew if they wish to come along and film the transaction, which the crew agree to.
The following morning the crew speaks to Grant, a man who is selling his infected girlfriend so he can buy a new Xbox. He seems to be tired of having to care for his wife and doesn’t appear to be upset with having to sell her to Mr. K. Mr. K seems happy with his purchase and tells the crew he will take good care of her. This segment shows how easily persons without rights can be exploited in society and also comments on how material goods are sometimes hold too much importance in people’s life.
The final scene of our film starts with the crew discussing how filming Barry and Amy is difficult and they question the woman’s sanity. The final scene of the film shows Amy eating at a restaurant with Barry, after only a few minutes Barry starts behaving poorly – trying to grab other guests and spitting out his food. Amy embarrassed tells Barry off then asks the crew to stop filming. The crew, frustrated agree then without realizing leave a camera rolling, As they pack up their equipment a fifth member of the crew appears in shot, as the crew pack heavy bags on him we see that he is in fact a zombie being exploited and the integrity of the documentary is now called into question.

Character briefs

This is the idea i came up with for the characters and come of there back story

PIMP: He is a shady character and know one knows his real name, he goes under the title of Mr K. From what we know about this character he is involved in the black market in slave trade buying and selling zombies to make money. Before the outbreak he was into selling drugs and making money in illegals ways. Mr K sees zombie as commodities to be sold and to make a profit from there work. He has just opened up a zombie strip club the first in plymouth and england and his message for people is that these zombie will do anything for a price.

HIPPIES: The hippes are pro zombie rights and are protesting for zombie to have rights and not to been seen as monsters but as people with problems. The leader of the group goes by the name of Mr Green, a few of his friends and family have been turned into zombies during the outbreak, he still has his family members locked up at home as he still thinks the people that they use to be are still in there and they may find a cure for them one day.

COUPLE:
Amy: A woman in her late 20s to early 30s, before the outbreak she was happily married to Barry. during the outbreak she locked herself and her husband in the house. They survived for a while because Amy use to store can tins as food as her father was in the army and always told her to store food for a bad day. Amy saw her husband get attacked in the garden and didnt do anything to help him, after he was able to stop the zombies she went out to him and notice he wasnt doing so well so she locked him in the garden shed. Once the outbreak was over the goverment came and took Barry away for a few weeks, he was finally given back to her but he wasnt the same man. Because of the guilt she feels for Barry and not being able to help she has decided to look after him and she started to lose her mind a little and the feelings for Barry has started to come back to her, because of this she has lost her friends and family but she doesnt care because she is in love.
Barry: A man in his late 20s, who was married to Amy before the outbreak, he tried to fight off a load of zombies that tried to get in the house, he was able to fight them off but ended getting bit which lead to him turning into a zombie. Barry is being kept as a pet/ project for his once was wife.

ZOMBIE OWNERS: A very posh family who have bought a zombie as a pet because they have seen as the new trend or accessory to have. They have one zombie pet called Fido, who they have owned for just under a year and to this day he hasnt attacked anyone due to the drugs that they have to give him. The family shower the zombie with gifts and make the zombie look really stylish and take the zombies to grooming centers and they make them compete against each other.

ZOMBIE WALKER: A young woman in her early 20s has decided to walk zombies to put her through university. She is studying to be come a criminal lawyer and using the zombie as a project, she has a walking route that she has got to use when walking zombies as there could be a chance of the zombies getting off the lead.

Crew Roles

After working on a few projects together, we learned all are strengths and weaknesses and from there we decided on are roles. In a gorup meeting we decided on each others roles.

Myself: Director/ Co-writer
Ricky: D.O.P/ 1st Camera
Ross: Producer/ Co-writer
Damian: Editor/ 2nd Camera

From working on this project I have been working really close with Ross we are always in contact and talking about new ideas and how we can over come problems that we have faced. we have been able to bounce ideas off of each to get the best out come for this mockumentary.

I have also worked really well with RIcky with how we set the scenes up and get the best visuals we can.

Damian has done a really good job of editing, he has been able to turn it into the thing i semi imagine it to be and he has been working on it for the last two weeks to make it what it is.

Research: Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith is a director/ writer/ actor and much more, over the pass year or so his work has inflence me in many different ways with me views on directing and how to direct, to how I view films. So far in his career he has directed 16 films to date and many of them have infleuenced my work. There was a short documentary he and Scott Mosier made in 1992 that i have seen called Mae day: the crumbling of a documentary, which sort of gave me a boost and the confidence to aim as high as I can with this mockumentary in a way. He was in the same position as i am in making a film or documentary for your final, him and Scott came up with the idea. After a student documentary project on a transsexual entertainer falls apart, the two director/producer have to come up with another documentary. this is what they came up with.(imdb) http://www.viewaskew.com/tv/maeday/maeday.mov
There original idea was to film a transsexual man turning into a woman and showing a day in the life of her. What they had come up with instead was a kind of making of documentary where they interviewed the crew who were just blaming the producer and director and there teachers who were also blaming the director and producer for the failed documentary. This as a piece still worked because you could see all the cracks with the crew from different prospectives but you got a feel for the whole story still, even if it wasnt the story they were going for. I like this because it shows you are not fully in controll of documentarys they either happen or they dont and one thing can cause it to fail. From viewing this it has given me idea to do something like this if are project fails, its like some kind of safety net in respects.

Research: Inprob Dialogue: comic book men

This is a T.V program about 4 friends running a comic book shop for Kevin Smith.  There were a few scene in this program that were scripted and they work because you see things you never would before but for the most of the episodes everything that happens in the episodes are not scripted and that what makes this program very interesting to watch. The show ran for 6 episode where you learned about each character and it showed a amazing insight into the world of comic books and superhero's. The show has 4 main characters that run the comic book shop and this was one of the reasons i am using this as a point of research as it reminds me of myself, damian ricky and ross because of they are four friends that work together and have good friendships. The show its self is appealing to me because of the subject matter and how nature they are together and how what you see is how the characters really are. The show is filmed in a unique way as it sets it up to be a podcast so you could either watch it or listen to it.

This is the cast for comic book men.

Research: Subject Matter: Monster Brawl

Monster Brawl
Director - Jesse T. Cook

The bases of this film is 8 classic monsters fight to the death in an epic wrestling tournament set inside an abandoned and cursed graveyard.

The film itselfs isnt that bad for a low budget film it follows 8 monsters battling it out to become the champion of the monsters. The monsters can only win there matches by killing there opponent in the ring. That is pretty much the plot for the entire film. The film its self isnt a horror film really as its more of a comedy/ a dig at professional wrestling. For a very low budget film the director and his team were able to get some really big former wwe wrestlers such as Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Heart who is a special ring announcer and Kevin Nash, they were also able to give a nice final polished production/ film and there was some really nice monster make up on the characters such as Frankensten and Swamp Gut but there were a few make up bloopers to say such as Zombie man and Witch bitch there make up didnt look to good. One of the things that let this film down was the monster breawl its self, on paper this probablylooked amd sounded like a good idea but it didnt transfer to the screen that well, the fights arent that exciting and are poorly stage throughout the film. The film has a live action celebrity deathmatch feel to it and also like you are watching a episode of smackdown or raw wrestling entertainment.
This film was good from a research point of view for me to show that you are able to make a film and a low bidget and get your point across, this film could have been much better then it was by going in to the characters a bit more and giving a bit more depth the film in the sense of why they are fighting. The good points i took from this is about how the set design in just one location can make a film and plays as a character by its self and how because you can have monsters in the film it doesnt mean that the monsters are the end all and be all of the film.

Curb your enthusiasm research

Curb your enthusiasm:

This is one of the shows that i have been doing some research into when myself and Ross have been writing the script as we decided against writing the dialogue for are characters and giving the actors the points we wanted to get across and let them make there own journey there. After we made that decision i started looking into Larry David who writes the show uses no dialogue in his scripts and outlines what needs to be in the scene leaving the actors to make there own decisions and act and interact in a more natural way. This seems to be a good way of working if you have the right actors for the job and are able to get your ideas across clearly enough for other people to understand.

Research into different scripts

Eastenders:

Personally this isnt the kind of TV program i would normally watch but i decide to look at this script because it fitted in with telling different people storys and showing different sides to each story. The program i think is a little bit boring as it seems just like the same storys over and over with different people. They try to show ever day life in this program for different familys and how they interact with each other the only thing i dont like is that the kind of things they show would never happen in real life. They run usually 3 or 4 stories at once which works because then the auidence is bored just watching the same set of people on screen and it makes the auidence feeel like they are getting to know the characters better from running these set of stories for a few episodes it starts to expand into something much bigger. One thing about this show and probably the thing i like most about it is the power and watch ability it has about it that keeps people tuning in for every episode and it gets the auidence talking about it, by this i mean how they had to drop one of the stories about a baby dying, they had a record number of complates put in about this subject it shows how this can affect peoples lives and shows the affect TV still has on people. The shows are wriiten and shot weeks in advance which shows the writers are really good at what they do as they seem to be one step ahead of world news in a way.

This is the opening image on eastenders title sequence.

Friends:
This is an American show about 6 friends, 3 men and 3 women, who are each in there own way lovable and everyone can see a bit of there selfs in each character which makes this a very appealing show to watch. There has been 10 series which is roughly about 250 episodes and there where two main writers for this TV show and they are David Crane and Marta Kauffman they wrote 238 of the episode. The clever thing about this show and how it is written is that there is always a basic storyline to each episode and in most cases it doesn't matter what episodes you watch as each episode is seprate to each other there is only a few episodes that link together which makes this program easy to watch and likeable. The little one liners throughout the show are funny and makes people laugh in the auidence which you hear during the show as its filmed in front of an auidence, the ques of laughter lead to the auidence at home to laugh as well and shows the lesser people in the audience when things are funny.
This is an image from the title sequence of friends.

Research into TV Documentarys Directors

Abigaile Priddle: Teenage Vampire

Vampires are being resurrected across popular culture from Twilight to True Blood, spawning a new phenomenon of bloodthirsty real-life teen vampires.

This is a group of american tenagers who think they are vampires and werewolves and go by the name of The Wolfpack. They seem to me like a bunch of mixed up emo kids looking for attention, they talk about how hollywood have the wrong idea about werewolves and vampires saying that they eat garlic, like sleeping in beds and not coffins, they are able to walk about in daylight and they dont transform into werewolves at full moons. The documentary shows a few different sides to this story sides of the teenagers, there parents and it shows a little bit with peoples perceptions of the teenagers. They have a mini interview with two pasters where they go on to say that the teenages should not be drinking each others blood and only drink the blood of christ they also say that the teens are going straight to hell for the sins they have committed. The documentary seems to follow two main teens David and Michal (a girl) who seem to be the leaders of the group, they show a girl called Jackie (werewolf) and she is the groups bloodletter, which is basically the girl who the vampires feed off and if that isnt weird enuff her mother is there when her daughter cuts her self and lets her freiends drink her blood and encourages the other teens to cut there selfs. This was a massive shock when i was watching it but i think it was needed  to show how mad and how far these teens are taking this.
I found this documentary really interesting as it shows a lot of sides to this weird story and starts to get deeper into why they think these teens think they are vampires and werewovles. The documentary shows the real danger these teens pose to there selfs with the drinking of peoples blood, they put there selfs in the lime light for bullies to attack them because they are different. This documentary pose's a lot of different questions to me and they are, are these teens just trying to find a way to cover self harm? and are they trying to glorifyself harm? The teens have adopted a sense of vampirism and believethey are really vampires and werewolves.
This is a group photo of the wolf pack.

Locations

These are the locations we are thinking about using for our mockumentary.

This is a short clip we shot when we were recce shooting to give us a rough idea of shot placement. (sorry about my acting)

This is a shoot up on the hoe where we were going to shoot the end of the mockumentary.
Because of time restraints we were unable to shoot this scene.
This is where we were going to shoot some of are Hippy scene.
When we came to film this scene the protesters had moved on and we were unable to film this scene.

This is where we were going to shoot the interview scene with Amy and Barry.
Because we change are actors for this scene we where able to film in a better location.

This is where we shoot the scenes with MR K.

This is where we filmed the restaurant scene with Amy and Barry.

This was going to be the locations where we were going to film Barry the
zombie getting washed but we decided against doing this scene.
This is where we shoot the hippy scene.

Set design

As we were using different locations over the shoot the set design was fairly easy to paln from the recce shot we did.

Shoot 1 and 2: Jack Chams:
For the first shoot we pretty much left Jack Chams the way it was we gave it a little clean to make the place look a bit better and had to move some of the tables and chairs around so we were able to set up the interview scene. For the second shoot we had to move more of Jack Chams around to be able to shoot the zombie dancers and to make it look like there was more extras than we had.

Shoot 3 : Selling a Zombie:
For there wasn't a lot we had to do in terms of set design as we were shooting in Ross's kitchen/ front room and had come up with the idea using that location.

Shoot 4 : Hippy Scene:
The hippy scene set design was really out of are hands as we were shooting it using voodoo lounge as a back drop as there was a reggae night going on.

Shoot 5: Amy and Barry Interview Scene:
Because we had to change actors for this scene we were able to use there home as the location so the set design was done for us.

Shoot 6: Amy and Barry Restaurant Scene:
This was another fairly easy scene in regards to set design as it was a restaurant we were filming in all we had to do were move a tables around.

Title sequence for mockumentary

For the opening title sequence for the mockumentary we decided to use old stock footage from riots that have happen so the auidence would be able to see what it was like during the outbreak of the infection in the early days. This is the footage that Damian found and has used to make a short title sequence and i personally think it works really well and gives the auidence some more in depth images and scenes to think about.

Jack Chams 1st Shoot

Sunday 15th APRIL
Cast
Nathan- Zombie slave owner
Zombie Dancers- NO SHOW
Extras- Nick, Ryan, Martin, Vicky

Crew:
Rob - Director
Ricky - D.O.P/ 1st camera
Ross - Producer
Damian - 2nd camera
Stacey - Make up artist

This was are first shoot for the zombie mocumentary and it didnt go as we planned it. We thought the girls might have been running late so we gave it 30 minutes and they i got damian to try and get in contact with them, just after an hour had gone by we got a message saying that the girls had pulled out on friday but forgot to tell and on top of that none of the extras showed up, so we were all trying to get friends to come down anf fill in. After we found out that the girls werent coming i decided to we would shootthe interview scene and get that spot on so we didnt waste the day. Nathan the main actor in this scene was great, me and ross took him through the scene and told him what we wanted from the scene. We gave him free rain with the character and gave him a few points we wanted him to gt across and let him get from A
to B in his own way.
For this shoot i used a few prompts to get the most out of Nathan and for us to get our points across and they were
so do you think what you are doing here is illegal?
what do you think about the people protesting what you are doing?
how did you come about getting the girls?
so you bought them from there familys?
so do you plan on expanding the business?
what do you think about the civil rights law coming in?

This was our second shoot at Jack chams as in the first shoot we were let down by some of the dancers.  For this shoot we had a few people reply to an add we put up in a few places, it was a male and a female and a few other extras from the first shoot. The people that replied to are add didnt turn up as it was a nice day and they had decided to go to the beach insyead and didnt tell us intil the monday after. We then had to start ringing around friends and putting things on facebook to try and get some more extras. Ross was able to get his girlfriend to come down and help us out by being a zombie dancer. We always seem to have problems with extras and actors when it came to shooting at Jack Chams which has put us about 2 weeks behind. From trying to get professional actors to help out in are production i have learnt that they dont always have the commitment levels that you do and next time i would try and get some funding to try to pay the actors so they would have more reason to show up.  In the Jack Cham shoot we  had to do a little DIY on the windows by putting up some cheap black curtains and tape them up on the windows so people werent able to look in and it made the bar look a bit more sleazy and creepy.
The prompts that we used for this scene were
Can you explain the kind of men that come to this place and dont you think that they are morally corrupt?
You have been openly criticize about the way you treat the girls, so what do you have to say about that?

This is a picture of kate on the stage dancing as a zombie
 and ricky getting cut aways.
This is me talking to brad about what to do in this scene
and im also talking to damian about the shots i want.

This is kate and vicky on stage dancing for the gentlemen.
This is me talking to paul about whats going on in this scene
and stacey talking to nathan in the back ground.

Day 3 of Shoot:Selling a zombie scene

This is a scene in the mockumentary where we follow MR K(Nathan) going to buy a zombie from Grant who put an add in the paper. The zombie he is selling is his girlfriend because he cant deal with her not doing anything any more and them not being able to connect and with the money he is going to be buying a new xbox 360. This was a scene we came up for expand more on Nathans character so you can see how he gets zombies for his business. The shoot went really well even though it was short notice for the actors and Grant and Inga had never been filmed before, Grant was really good for this part as we had him in mind for this character. This scene was made a bit easier by Grant being my brother i was able to tell him how to play the scene perfectly and because of that fact i knew what i had to do to get the best out of him.

This is how we set up this interview with grant and his zombie girlfriend
behind him so you cam see what he is going through.
This is the scene in the mocumentary where we see the transaction happens.
This is the angle from the second camera where you able to see the
zombie, grant, mr k and ricky filming the scene.

Day 4 of the shoot: Hippy scene

Saturday 19th May

Cast
Lew - Hippy leader

Crew
Myself - director
Ricky - first camera
Ross - second camera
Damian - sound recorder

This was day 4 of the shoot and it was the easiest of the lot we arrived at voodoo lounge at just after 10pm and are actor turned up just after 10pm. We decided that this would be the best location for this characters interview this character was meant to the be the opposite of Mr K character. There were no major problems with this shoot apart from the noise coming from voodoo as it was louder than we expected because of this when we were using the sound equipment it only picked up Lews voice and not mine apart from that it was really good and are actor was really good and a friend of my family which is lucky because i had him in mind when i was writting the character briefs. Because of the sound I'm not to sure at the moment if we will be able to use this scene, but we will see if we can sort the sound levels out and be able to use it. For this shoot we had Damian doing the sound recording, Ricky as first camera and Ross was second camera because Lew is a good friend of mine it was easy to get the best out of him and it was easy for me to give him the basics of the scene and let him add some of his character to it.
This is what Voodoo looked like from the outside and this
was the back drop to our interview.
This is a picture of me speaking to Lew and going
 through the scene with him.
This is a shoot of Ricky setting up the
camera and framing the shot.
This is how we were going to frame Lew but decided to frame it
in front on voodoo and the hundreds people.

This is the scene that we shoot with Lew outside of voodoo because of sound issues ross thought that it would be better off leaving this scene as i thought it needed to be in there as this character is the oppisite  character to Mr K. As we came nearer the end of editing we decided that we needed this character and we were able to fit it in the mockumentary and with this scene we didnt have to change the title sequence.

Script test in college

This is us in college practicing a scene from our script with a few actors that Kev Johnson brought in, it was really good practice for us to do this and it gave me more experience working with actors that i dont know and gave myself some confidence directing people and show that i was able to get my points across to people that werent in the loop about what we were doing.

Make up

This is just a few pictures of Stacey are make up artist doing zombie make up on the Jack Chams scene and the scene were a zombie is being sold.

This is the start of stacey doing make up.

This is near the end of stacey doing the make up and it is looking really good, we had a little
bit of input about how the zombies should look for each scene and then stacey makes it happen.
This is the finish piece for this scene and you can see how undead she looks.
This is stacey just adjusting the hair of this zombie so she looks worst.
This is how she looked just before we started shooting.
This is the start of stacey doing the make up on kate for
 the second Jack Chams shoot.
This is about half way through stacey doing the make up.
This is a close up the make up starting to take shape.
This is how kate ended up looking for this shoot and she looked
really freaky with contacts in as well.
This on stage getting ready to start shooting this scene.
This is how Vicky looked after getting all her make up done.
