Research into TV Documentarys Directors

Abigaile Priddle: Teenage Vampire

Vampires are being resurrected across popular culture from Twilight to True Blood, spawning a new phenomenon of bloodthirsty real-life teen vampires.

This is a group of american tenagers who think they are vampires and werewolves and go by the name of The Wolfpack. They seem to me like a bunch of mixed up emo kids looking for attention, they talk about how hollywood have the wrong idea about werewolves and vampires saying that they eat garlic, like sleeping in beds and not coffins, they are able to walk about in daylight and they dont transform into werewolves at full moons. The documentary shows a few different sides to this story sides of the teenagers, there parents and it shows a little bit with peoples perceptions of the teenagers. They have a mini interview with two pasters where they go on to say that the teenages should not be drinking each others blood and only drink the blood of christ they also say that the teens are going straight to hell for the sins they have committed. The documentary seems to follow two main teens David and Michal (a girl) who seem to be the leaders of the group, they show a girl called Jackie (werewolf) and she is the groups bloodletter, which is basically the girl who the vampires feed off and if that isnt weird enuff her mother is there when her daughter cuts her self and lets her freiends drink her blood and encourages the other teens to cut there selfs. This was a massive shock when i was watching it but i think it was needed  to show how mad and how far these teens are taking this.
I found this documentary really interesting as it shows a lot of sides to this weird story and starts to get deeper into why they think these teens think they are vampires and werewovles. The documentary shows the real danger these teens pose to there selfs with the drinking of peoples blood, they put there selfs in the lime light for bullies to attack them because they are different. This documentary pose's a lot of different questions to me and they are, are these teens just trying to find a way to cover self harm? and are they trying to glorifyself harm? The teens have adopted a sense of vampirism and believethey are really vampires and werewolves.
